05. Blah, Blah, Blah...

BenBooHow1

I WAS WALKING THROUGH THE STREETS OF MY HOMETOWN
OLD MEMORIES IN MY HEAD
EVERYTHING HAD CHANGED AND EVERYTHING WAS NEW
I WAS LOOKING FOR A BED

I FINALLY FOUND A CHEAP HOTEL
DOWN BY THE RIVERSIDE
A MUTE MAN OUT IN THE STREET
HE SHOWED ME THE WAY TO THE SECOND FLOOR
TO A LADY IN ROOM NUMBER FOUR
TO A LADY IN ROOM NUMBER FOUR…….. AND SHE SAID

BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH SHE SAID
BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH SHE MUST HAVE BEEN MAD
I COULDN’T UNDERSTAND A SINGLE WORD
I COULDN’T UNDERSTAND A SINGLE WORD

A FAT OLD LADY WITH A DIRTY WIG
A GROWLING DOG AT HER FEET
I THOUGHT I’D SEEN HER FACE BEFORE
BUT I COULDN’T REMEMBER WHEN

THERE WAS A ROTTEN SMELL HANGING IN THE AIR
SHE WANTED ME TO SIGN
AND I REALISED SHE WAS MY PAST
NEVER LOST FOREVER MINE
I HEARD THE MUTE LOCK THE DOOR
I HEARD THE MUTE LOCK THE DOOR…….. AND SHE SAID

BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH SHE SAID
BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH SHE MUST HAVE BEEN MAD
SHE SAID WORDS I HAD NEVER HEARD
SHE SAID WORDS I HAD NEVER HEARD
